Sunday Mornings hat die Pforten im SASS endgültig geschlossen. Ende August starten wir wieder wöchentlich in der Auslage, die schon seit einiger Zeit umgebaut wird. Hinter den Kulissen entsteht ein 2. neuer Floor. Dadurch wird nicht nur die jetzige Größe verdoppelt, sondern gibt der Wiener Clubszene endlich den Club für 400 bis 500 Leute, der bislang immer gefehlt hat.

Nach 6 Jahren im SASS und in der Skykitchen ist es Zeit für eine Veränderung:

Zum einen sind die Betreiber der Auslage gute Freunde von uns, mit denen wir einfach gerne feiern.
Zum anderen das deutlich leistungsfähigere Soundsystem, das für unseren Musikstil ein ganz wichtiger Punkt ist.

Vorallem eröffnen sich durch den neuen Mainfloor viele Möglichkeiten:

Der jetzige Dancefloor wird für jeden Sonntag Morgen zu einer Chillzone umgebaut. Mit Ambient Music, in einer Lautstärke wo man sich noch gut unterhalten kann, mit einem DJ Pult auf Sitzhöhe und vielen Sofas und Liegen, wollen wir eine gemütliche Atmosphäre schaffen.

Viele Afterhour Gäste sind oft unentschlossen noch in einen weiteren Club zu gehen, Schlangen vor den Toiletten, aggressive Securities, finstere Gestalten sind eher wenig einladend und nicht selten auch Realität in den Afterhours.

Das Feedback unserer Freunde und Gäste ist uns sehr wichtig.

Die Kernidee von Sunday Mornings war und ist noch immer, dass wir mit unseren Freunden (und natürlich den anderen Gästen) eine gute Zeit verbringen können. Damit eine Party wirklich zu einer guten Party wird, müssen viele Punkte zusammenspielen, die Vision, das ganze Team, der Club, das Umfeld und auch die Selektion der Gäste muss wirklich gut umgesetzt sein.

Ein befreundeter DJ hat mal gesagt, er findet den Hype um die DJs völlig daneben, denn bei einer guten Party ist jeder Gast genauso wichtig, wie der DJ der auf der Bühne steht. Nur wenn sich jeder als ein Teil der Party sehen kann und seine positive Energie beisteuert, entsteht das Gemeinschaftsgefühl, dass eine Party zu einer Besonderen werden lässt.

Wir nehmen das sehr ernst, deswegen auch der Wechsel in die Auslage, da wir dort viel Spielraum für die Umsetzung dieser Vision haben.

Wir wollen uns wirklich auf die Atmosphäre konzentrieren und etwas anderes anbieten als bis jetzt und dafür haben wir glaub ich mit der neu umgebauten Auslage den Club gefunden, der am besten zu unserer Idee passt.

Sunday Mornings has closed it's doors at SASS. At the end of August Sunday Mornings will start fresh with a weekly party at Auslage, which has recently been under construction. Behind the scenes of the construction are two new floors. Not only will the size of the club double, but at last the Viennese club scene will have the club with 400-500 person capacity which had been missing until now.

After 6 years in SASS and in the Skykitchen, it was definitely time for a change.

On the one hand, the owners of Auslage are good friends of ours, with whom we like to party. On the other hand, and more importantly, the soundsystem in Auslage is remarkably better suited for the music that we play.

Above all the new mainfloor opens up many possibilities:

The current dancefloor will be turned into a Chillzone with ambient music played at a volume where one can still hold a conversation. The DJ booth will be at sitting level, and with many sofas and lounge chairs we want to create a comfortable atmosphere.

Many afterhour guests are indecisive about whether they want to go into another club - standing in line by the toilets, aggressive security, dark characters create a less-than-inviting atmosphere are often the reality at afterhours.

The feedback from our friends and guests is very important to us.

The concept of Sunday Mornings was, and still is, that we want to have a good time with our friends and party guests. In order for a party to be good, many factors must come together: the vision, the team, the club and surroundings, as well as the selection of the guests.

A DJ friend once said to me that he finds the hype around the DJs a moot point and that at a good party each guest is just as important as the DJ who is in the booth. When each aspect of the party contributes positive energy, only then can the feeling of community, which electronic music parties manifest, turn into something special.

We take this very seriously. We want to focus on the atmosphere and offer something different to what we have had until now. The move to the Auslage gives us the room to develop and realize this vision.
